SNOW

We had SNOW on Thursday, and we got to play in it right after lunch. The kids had a blast!

What's that Taste?

WOW! What a face!

In our study of our five senses, here's some fun we had identifying taste. The students had 4 different foods: lemon, coffee, a marshmallow, and a pretzel. The students had to decide which food tasted sour, bitter, sweet, and salty. Here are some of the more "expressive faces."

Our First Field Trip is Scheduled

Every year the Skittles® make the trek to the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo. Since it is so close to our school, we walk to the HOT Fair. We get to save one of our field trips and also save money! Hopefully the weather will be nicer by October 13th! We will leave our school by 8:15 to begin our walk. Put this on your calendars, and let us know if you will be able to attend. We see the milking demonstration, visit Planet Agriculture, and visit Mr. Bill's Barnyard. It is always a fun day, and this year we will also be bringing sack lunches and eat at the fair complex after our tour is over. Yee Haw!
